Two of us enjoyed Persian Pomegranate Chicken (Fesenjan). While it isn't on the normal lunch menu, it is a really good selection. The rest enjoyed the normal fare. Everybody was happy.

My husband had driven past a Persian restaurant on Springvale Road and suggested we should try it. Turns out he was suggesting the restaurant next door to Caspian. I went on to TripAdvisor and found two on Springvale Road. The reviews of the Caspian were more positive so we chose to go there. I rang and booked a table (it is small so you might miss out if you just walk in) and on arrival we were shown to our table and given water and menus immediately. There were also specials on the board to choose from. We ordered the cucumber and yoghurt and the smoked eggplant and yogurt dips (smoked eggplant was just the best) which came with more than enough bread for the two of us. We then ordered the Persian Herbed Stew, along with the Shrimp Rice. Both had plenty of flavor but I particularly liked the Shrimp Rice with itâs extra spice. There was far too much for the two of us to eat and we were supplied with containers to take home what we couldnât eat. Service was quick and friendly and the food was not only tasty but also very filling and we really enjoyed the food. Looking over their menu there are plenty of other dishes worth trying so we will be back. Even take away would be worth trying if you didnât want to eat out. A must to try and good value for money.

Well this little gem needs to be well advertised; preferably by mouth! What a find!TripAdvisor led us here as the area is totally unknown to us but halfway between the two couples who wanted to meet for lunch. Itâs part of a commercial building, so not immediately recognisable. Persevere - itâs well worth the effort. The owners are most welcoming and keen to please. They offered some excellent suggestions and we enjoyed everything we ordered. The banana milkshake is yummy $5:50 and the healthy kick juice went down well for $6:90We ordered two different omelettes $13:90, the open souva $16:90 and avo with goat cheese $13:90. Just for fun we also ordered a serve of potato sidewinders which come with rough cut guacamole and sour cream $9:50We shared a slice of carrot cake which was a tad dry. Coffee $3:80 Tea $4Do yourself a favour!

The place it self is warn and welcoming, with a good ambiance. The staff were also helpful and very pleasant. The food we had was pretty good, but wasn't exceptional. The Halloumi Fries we had were absolutely loaded with salt, which wasn't a great start to the food. But the rest of the food was good, but did take a bit of time.
