I was really looking forward to go there since weeks. But I regretted afterwards. The Samboussak were served cold, the Taboule was definitely not freshly made, the servings are in plastic dishes, the beer served was most probably not the brand proposed on the menu. The decor is dating and very dark inside. The service was good though. Conclusion: definitely not the best Lebanese in Basel.

It's very busy. Apart from having to share a table in order to get a seat we had a fabulous meal here. Chose set maze for 2 with meats @66CHF, it could easily have fed four. All around us people were taking doggie bags home. Service very good, food very good, price on a par for this country, over £100 including wine.Thank you for your evaluation :) There is always a lot going on in Za Zaa Petersgraben, so we recommend to book in advance. Cosy atmosphere. Service is fast and smooth. Markthalle seems to be good choise for this kind of restaurant. All foodstuff fresh and clean. Falafel and kofta should be little bit warmer than ours?
