My first time here. I was expecting it to be at least an average Mexican restaurant, and with the ratings I see here, I thought it would be better than average. Yawn. Bland, basic interior. service was fairly quick and they were fairly attentive. Not rude, but not friendly, either. The food was OK, again - no different than any other "authentic"-style place, and definitely not as good as a handful of others in the Owatonna-Waseca-Mankato area. The prices aren't too bad, but a tad on the high side for a basic, "authentic" place like this.

My family eats here a lot! We are a large family of 13. We usually come for birthday's or celebration. Food is excellent and so is the service. One of the problems with all of us coming in is space. Not much space for such a large group. We usually call in ahead of time.

If you are just hitting the place or the drive thru it's your average Taco John's. But if you are using them to supply for your party, baby shower, graduation ect... Cindy is awesome. I have used them 3xs and she has known what I would need for my guest list. Also in my freaking out wondering if I would have enough assured me if I needed anything she would let her staff know if I called to get what I needed ready right away. It was such a help in planning our parties. Also we eat take home once in awhile. Always good service.
