Everytime time we go it seems like it is ever better than the last. They have updated the menu. Sure they have burritos and fajitas, but the really good stuff are the novel spin on Mexican entree's. Barbacoa tacos are a favorite and now a regular feature. Save room for Sopasilla (fried taco shells with chocolate, honey drizzle and vanilla ice cream, enough for 4!). Don't rush your dinner. They have an extensive tequila menu as well as great cocktail menu of tequila based drinks. Don't be put off because it's a bit more expensive; this is real food.

Established in 1966, Chip's Family Restaurant creates a warm, friendly atmosphere that makes you feel like you've known us for years when you walk through our doors. We believe in quality food and excellent service. Everything is homemade and our pancakes
Great atmosphere with wonderful friendly staff. The breakfast menu is outstanding with food that is different and delicious. I had their potato pancakes that were huge in size and were the best I have ever tasted. You can't get these just anywhere and was surprised to see them on the menu. My husband had their pancakes and omelets and was just as pleased with his choices. You can get breakfast any time of the day and night and lunch/dinner anytime of the day and night.

Our extended family would go to El Sombrero for every birthday, anniversary, graduation etc for many years, and absolutely loved the atmosphere, wonderful food and top-notch cocktails. When it tragically, temporarily closed we were devastated. When it reopened as Eddie's Sombrero we eagerly went back, wanting to recapture our #1 fun spot. The usual staff was mostly gone (Gabby was amazing) and we were disappointed. We tried a couple more times but the food quality, service and atmospere were not up to par. This restaurant again underwent a grand reopening recently so we tried, again. The mojito was not good, the food was ok,service needs improvement. The young man, perhaps the manager, was nice, polite, but not yet adept at customer service. We miss you Eddie
