My wife and I recently visited Tortilla Soup in McComb, MS. The restaurant was bright and clean and decorated in typical Tex-Mex restaurant style. The dishes were mostly chicken and steak but with a few shrimp and fish choices. I had the grilled talapia tacos while my wife had the chicken fajitas. Both were above average. The salsa was different from the generic salsa served at most Mexican and Tex-Mex restaurants. Kind of a smoky flavor, with lots of cilantro, and very good. All in all, pretty good Tex-Mex food.

We ate here with 2 yr old twins, a 4 yr old, and their parents, The wait staff was very attentive to the little ones, and the food was good. Best salsa around!

They have a lunch buffet during the week from 11-2. It looks good, but we always order from the menu. The virgin daiquiris are quite good. Everything I've had from El Som didn't disappoint. The customer service is extremely good as well. We are frequent customers.
