We were pleased with our food and service at the restaurant. My husband had the chicken fajita and I had the fajita combo, chicken and beef. I felt the beef in my dish as a little over cooked as some of it was darkly charred. There was plenty to eat and the service was good.

I decided to write this review not because of the food, which is pretty good but not exceptional. But I read few reviews about bad service and long wait times and what we experienced was totally the opposite. Perhaps they read the reviews and improved the service. The place was pretty busy but we had an excellent service.

In the early 2000s, Taco John's slogan was "There's a whole lot of Mexican going on, going on at Taco John's." Well they were right, there is a whole lot of Mexican, average quality fair priced stuff, going on here. Its a step up from Taco Bell, which to be fair isn't saying much but if you want a good Mexicanish lunch for a reasonable price you would do well to eat here.

The KFC has been here for at least 40 years, and the taco bell was added 10-15 years ago. I can't ever remember a time when the place looked clean inside or out. The staff have never been friendly, old or young. Every time I go in there, it seems there are new people that haven't been properly trained. I very rarely eat in-house anymore, because the place is that nasty in the lobby. The food is still good, and they usually get the order right, but the prices are high, especially for the chicken.
