Found this bar on our last night on Gili T and have to say they were the best cocktails we had on the holiday! The glass the Sharkbait cocktail came in was brilliant and the cocktails were super tasty and strong! We also had some fish taco's to share which were delicious and a good sized portion too. The bar is also in a lovely setting, loved all the lights and tiki statues and the staff were fab. We met the owners as well who were so friendly and keen to hear about our experience of the bar. If only we'd found it sooner, we would definitely have returned for more food and more cocktails!Thanks Auntie Nicki! Huh, that sounds like my Auntie left a nice review for her nephew. A little nepotism perhaps but no! Thatâs her name on here. Look. Weâre glad you did eventually find us and enjoyed your time with us at Tiki Grove! Say hi Uncle Nick for me.

We have had lunches and dinner by the beach along the popular tourists hang-out in Gili beach. From Mexican, Lebanese, Western and local cuisines along the beach, we have been disappointed with the flavour of each dish which was lack of authenticity. My guess was due to difficulty in getting the right ingredients, spices and herbs.Until we found this small restaurant at the first road behind the busy main road. We ordered Chicken Rica-rica, Beef Rendang, Gado Gado and Fried battered Tempe and were excited with the flavour and the texture of each dish. The chicken was fried but moist which covered with delicious rica-rica chilly chutney. The Gado Gado peanut sauce had nice balance of sweet, salt and sourness. The rendang, although itâs not the same kind of rendang you get from Sumatra, it has nice rendang curry flavour. The Tempe was just delicious goodness when dipped to their home made chilly sambal/chutney. Pretty cool setup in the restaurant and the menu is varied enough. Tacos and burritos were okay accompanied with a nice presentation as well. Definitely a good place if you want something different on Gili!
