If authentic Tex Mex is what you are looking for, Viva! is not the place to go. The starters were not bad, but hardly Mexican and lacked flavour. You also don't get much for what you pay. My partner had the tortilla and cheese dish and said she enjoyed it, there was even a bit of a burn in the salsa. However, the pulled pork burritos I had were soggy and messy. The flour tortilla was doughy and limp and the filling was quite tasteless. I couldn't taste the pork, nor the sour cream or the refried beans. And there was NOT a hint of chilli in the dish. Quite disappointing.

Overall the food was average/plain: there was nothing traditionally Mexican (fresh = cilantro, lime, tomato, avo) in the food. The guacamole appeared purchased vs home made with thickeners/starch vs an authentic taste to the dip. Itâs good value for money if youâre after volume but itâs not authentic Mexican. Service was great!

Tacoways brags alot about their food on social media and they can do so because it is centrally located, very clean, very friendly service and yes, very tasty. They put their hearts into the preparation of the dishes. Even take aways look pretty!Highly recommended! Thank you for your review
