On our way back from the beach and avoiding I40 we wandered through Clinton and found this large Mexican restaurant. It was right after 1 and the lunch crowd was huge. We waited a few minutes but then were seated and immediately were brought drinks and chips and salsa. Waiters were pretty busy so we did lose ours for a little while but when we did order we got the food relatively quickly. Taquitos Mexicanos was hot and crispy and tasty. The chicken chimichanga was a little bland but a good sized portion. Cheese dip was pretty thin and lacked some flavor. Overall portions were good for the price.
This place is authentic Mexican food, no Tex-Mex here, and it's the best in town. I go for lunch once a week usually; I've tried all their tacos but my favorite by far is the spicy brisket. They're hot salsa is actually hot unlike most places I try. Definitely worth a visit but just know that there is not seating here so you have to take it to go.

Grabbed a quick bite. Just a couple of tacos. Food was fresh and hot. Service was polite and quick. Just what you expect from a Taco Bell.
