Hubby and I are new locals in Acton and recently discovered LaCabana, thinking it was mostly a watering hole. We were so surprised at the large size, the great service, and the fabulous food. The place is clean and comfortable, with an extensive menu that accommodates a vegan such as myself. Daughter and I got tostado bowls with beans and veggies minus cheese. Delish!

Enjoyed dinner here as we are staying at a local RV park and it was close by. Shrimp burrito was very good and the chimichanga was just as tasty. Restaurant was clean, staff was nice, our server wasn't the best. Meal arrived hot but server didn't bother to check on us and another server had to find our ticket when we were ready to leave. Suppose to be happy hour when we were there but didn't see, or were offered any drinks specials.

Don't let the sixties restaurant look put you off. This family run restaurant is a real treat. My mole chicken burrito dinner was excellent and reminded me of my first mole experience 30+ years ago in Mexico City.Professional staff with quick service. Clean operation.

If you live in the Canyon Country side of town, Maria Bonita is close, casual and delicious. We go nearly once a week for dinner and margaritas. They have a full bar and large menu with all of the typical Mexican favorites. Fantastic refried beans and, as I said above, the best margaritas in town. The bar also has large T.V.s in case you want to watch a game.
