my husband took me here for my birthday last night---it was more than just going out for a meal--it's the only truly Moroccan restaurant in Lannion (that I know of)--ok so you say why go Moroccan when your in France? answer, if you're staying in France for a while and looking for a little variety--the restaurant was chock a block so you need to make reservations or you'll be waiting --it was a Friday night for us and they had a belly dancer entertaining. There menu offers a good variety of food and they also have cocktails that can't be ordered at the local bar. I know this place got a bad review 2yrs ago but it wasn't like that for us--the food was excellent and for the small staff they had I think they did quite well in serving about 400 people (it was that full) --the atmosphere and decor totally makes you feel like you're in Morocco --they were spot on for that--the staff was extremely friendly and upbeat---and the entertainment was good--that girl worked the whole restaurant weaving in and out of tables and she also had a stage--and the bill to me was very economical --try to go when they have the entertainment to get the full experience

Restaurant in front of the sea. Many tapas and home made food, bar.Between 4 and 13 â¬. English and spanish spoken
We stumbled upon this place, as there wasn't a lot else open on a miserable wet Wednesday evening in March. In short it was so good we went back the next night and it was even better!Everyone else inside was French, which is always a good sign, and one of the very French things about this place is as you walk in, on the left is the bar, on the right the restaurant, so there's a great buzz and atmosphere that builds up almost imperceptibly throughout the evening.Tapas is the theme, but not the only thing available - we had the Salmon, the Pork and the Serrano ham ones for starters - yum. Then one night Moules Marinieres and chicken curry (in a french restaurant!) and the next night the curry and the burger - which I personally rate every restaurant by, and this was excellent. Some of the quirky but lovable characteristics are the decor, (a bit arte nouveau with a hint of modernism) , and the menus, contained within the pages of hardback french cartoon annuals - genius., and yes the tables are a bit close together but that's a very french thing. The staff were attentive and spoke very good english, and were delightful with our 6 year old, who ate from the childrens menu. When you add in the carafe of Rose (excellent) and the couple of beers, it worked out at 25euros a head - not cheap, but such a wonderful little place - cant wait to go back on a sunny evening and maybe eat outside on the terrace overlooking the beach and harbour.

Our hotel recommended us to go here because 'they have amazing pizza's. That proved to be the case! Not only did we enjoy excellent pizza's, we also had a great mixed vegetable starter, reminiscent of Sicilian Caponata. However, the starter was such a generous portion that we did not manage to finish our excellent pizza's. So you may opt to share a starter instead of each having their own. It's all handmade in the open kitchen and they are a small family-run place with a focus on quality and service. It is wise to reserve for a time not too late in the evening as there are not too many tables and the amount of dough they prepare fresh every day is logically limited and can run out if you spontaneously arrive later in the evening. It isn't the most romantic ambiance, but the superb authentic food and humble friendly owners and staff make this a little gem in Perros Guirec.
