Stopped in for lunch we had the falafels and vegan burger. Both were really good, the vegan burger was very tasty, while my partner loved the falafels, and the accompanying sauce. Nice ambience, and good value for money. The guy serving us must have been having a bad day as he never cracked a smile once but hey the food was really good so would recommend this eatery.

Modern Italian Restaurant using fresh local seasonal produce and daily handcrafted pasta. We have been operating since 1996 in Napier.
My girlfriend and I were attending a private clothing label viewing at the Quest and happened upon this restaurant for a "pre viewing" glass of wine. After the meeting, we ventured back for dinner. The service was fantastic and we wanted for nothing the entire experience. We ordered the Beef tartare, Mussels and the Seafood Fettucini to share. It was recommended that we dine on the fettucini after the entrees. The beef was ok, no gherkins or capers mixed through, no egg yolks either. The mussels were tasty, cooked to perfection, served in an Italian seasoned tomato sauce. Bellisimo! The seafood fettucini was tossed in the exact same Italian seasoned tomato sauce! So, that was not so original or different.I would have preferred to be informed that the sauces were the same in the mussels and the fettucini. Then I would have appreciated something else, with a very different base, be recommended to me for the main course.I will go again and give it another try. The owner was charming, the menu was extensive enough for me to give it another go sometime soon.

Simple, Healthy & Authentic Turkish Cuisine. We mix quality ingredients, use locally grown fresh produce, meat and poultry with fine-tuned culinary arts to bring you our delicious mouth-watering dishes.
We bought as a takeaway so can only comment on the food. We all bought iskenders and they were super tasty, large portions, tender meat and that's about all one can say about this place - go and experience for yourself - you won't regret it.

The National Cafe is New Zealand's oldest restaurant, continually owned and operated by the same family for over 90 years! Needless to say we occasionally take a few breaks over winter to rest our bones. We do a few special events through winter and are t
Wonderful experience. Okay, modest decor, but very good/authentic greek cuisine. "Ithaca style" says the front of house guy*, so a different but very tasty take on kleftico (slow cooked lamb) a salad with tomatoes, cucumber and olives but no greens, etc. Good selecton of modestly priced local wines. And do save room for dessert as they make their own sorbets and ice creams with unusual and very tasty flavors (e.g., lemon/basal, berry/ouzo, condened milk). And stop to appreciate the 'Bob Dylan signed original' water color on the wall*BTW, any restaurant with 3 guys in the kitchen and 1 guy taking care of all the waiting/bartending/serving is putting resources in the right place. Plus the front of house guy was personable!
