FIG & OLIVE's Westchester location is an effortless escape for shoppers at the Vernon Hills Shopping Center, and a favorite of local Scarsdale residents. Its airy, light-filled dining room is an accessible space for an elegant meal. This opens to the outs
Met some friends at Fig & Olive for lunch and loved the new spring menu. From the dipping oils to the crostini appetizers and main dishes through to dessert (apple tartâyum!), the menu and the food were outstandingâtrue Mediterranean dishes and flavors that you canât get anywhere else. Will definitely returnâso many other dishes we want to try!

We have always liked the restaurant, but hadnât been here in about two years. The still have it, but it looks like everyone else knows about it as well. We had a lamb stew and bronzino, both excellent. Itâs BYOB, which definitely reduces your cost, or allows you to upgrade your wine. There is a wine store across the street; pretty convenient, right? And donât forget to offer your waiter some of your wine; they really appreciate it.

Only the freshest ingredients. Authentic Italian cuisine. Warm, cozy atmosphere.
LOVED Café Alaia! Stumbled across this gem while shopping with my daughter. It's really a great spot. The menu wasn't large -- but the selection was great. We chose to go light -- ordered a salad which was great paired with a tagliatelli bolgonese. Portions were perfect for sharing (we are not big eaters). Had an awesome glass of Pinot Grigio which we really enjoyed. Ended our perfect meal with a great cappuccino. While we do not live local -- this is definitely a place that we will come back to. It had a Manhattan feel but we were able to park right outside :). Service was excellent, diners all looked pleased. Café Alaia has figured out how to do Italian dining right in Scarsdale! Restaurant is small, so be sure to have a reservation. A definitely MUST to try for a fine dining experience!

It was bad especially tonight, they had a mob, but the kitchen was not prepared, the wait staff was awful andcslow.Took 15 minutes to bring pita, and beer for my husband, then at least 45 minutes for our food, and 1 hour for the kids, you dont do that the children, we are talking about grilled cheese and fries. No one really cared. Then to top it off the bathroom was filthy, had I seen that first we would have ran out.Its nice they are busy, but it's not the customer's problem to be that patient. It was a miserable night there, I think the Bd of Health needs to see the bathrooms
