Find out what Latin restaurants to try in South Bend. The 150-year-old University of Notre Dame is South Bend's biggest tourist draw, and for good reason. Though it's not easy to land seats at the 80,000-plus-capacity Notre Dame Stadium for a "Fighting Irish" football game, you'll find plenty of attractions on the beautiful, expansive campus. Highlights include numerous works of art, the Basilica of the Sacred Heart and the Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes, a replica of the famous shrine. Football fans will also want to visit the College Football Hall of Fame, which features interesting perspectives on the game and inductee videos. Whether or not you remember the Studebaker automobile, which saw its demise in the early sixties, you're sure to enjoy the Studebaker National Museum, featuring more than 75 vehicles drawn from the history of the company, beginning with horse-drawn carriages. South Bend has several fine museums, including the South Bend Regional Museum of Art and the Northern Indiana Center for History, a complex of four museums. Don't leave without trying truffles or fudge from the South Bend Chocolate Company.

The Venezuelan food at Mango is wonderful. Since opening up in South Bend a few years ago, Mango has improved the culinary landscape in South Bend tremendously. location is close to ND and easy and convenient for travelers. For those in town, the owner and staff are great to get to know and are amazingly friendly. Food wise, everything we have tried has been excellent....great vegetarian options, and all the traditional dishes are truly authentic and spectacular. they also have excellent food for non-adventurous kids, but Mario will encourage the kids to try some new foods. enjoy.

I have visited Livery in Indianapolis and jumped at the opportunity to take colleagues here in South Bend. The food was excellent and the drinks were even better! We loved the Chicken Torta and the Mahi Mahi Tacos and the Livery margarita was a hit! Service was excellent, and the inside of the restaurant is super interesting. There is a garage a few doors down that offers 2 hour free parking. So glad I can visit this restaurant in two locations!

In town for the weekend and we had a hankering for some Mexican so we followed the recommendations of the other reviewers. The food was great. The seafood burrito was just what I hoped for. The margaritas were totally awesome. Good menu choices. Worth the trip. Lots of families were eating here. Reasonable prices.

My wife is a friend of the woman who owns and operates this restaurant. It truly is a locally owned neighborhood small business. The menu is limited to traditional quick and cheap offerings and largely caters to the local Latino residents. Prices are probably better than reasonable and the service is quick on most nights. This is a genuine family operation with several member and generations of the family working in the place most evenings. The servers are bilingual so no need to feel out of place when ordering. A decent meal at a decent price in an improving neighborhood.
