Make a reservation for weekend dining. We really enjoyed our dinner of:Tequenos - (Crispy wontons filled with shrimp and Oaxaca cheese)Costillitas - (Pork spareribs with nice BBQ sauce)Beet Salad Roast Chicken - wonderful spices and flavors. All of the plates coming out of the kitchen looked great.Service was good. They have some nice wines by the glass, and also have a reasonable corkage fee if you want to byob. It's fun to sit outside on the patio area if the weather is accommodating.

El Tapatio is a Family oriented Mexican restaurant with great food, large portions, and friendly prices.
El Tapatio is nearby. Been there a dozen times before over the years. They have a bar as you walk in (friendly area, with some tables there) and then you walk into the big wide tiled room. Not much ambience, in that wide-open area. Not a romantic place for couples. All the tables are right there. We went there on a recent Friday and, the place seemed "lit up" to us. First off, it's Friday. It was fully packed. There is a community college within a block, so I noticed was how multi-generational and animated it was on Friday ---- everyone was having a great time. Tables for 2, for 4 for 6, etc. All in that big room. There were grandparents, couples, kids, students. We really enjoy places like that. Like a big family.Onto the food. We've eaten there before and the Mexican food was fine in the past, but not memorable. On Friday, I had arrachera (marinated flank steak, Mexican style) with sides. Eating partner had a beef enchilada and chicken taco, on the 2-item combo. Both our dishes were very good. And, the price was excellent. We're used to high-quality Mexican food in Mexico, from Mexican chefs and were quite impressed with the flavors, the quality of the arrachera steak preparation and the sides (guacamole and pico de gallo, plus rice and beans), for the price. Both full dinners were $13. Our server was attentive, friendly and conversational. The house margarita was $7.00 and pretty good.Overall, we were impressed. Better than the last time we there around a year ago. We'll be back soon. Very good food and service -- and value.

AUTHENTIC South American food from Chef Guisell's native Chile. From flavorful Empanadas, Osso Bucco and traditional South Amercian Sandwiches to alfajores cookies freshly baked and filled with dulce de leche, we make everything with only the highest qual
We have not eaten in but have had the take out many times. The Empanadas are delicious - especially the ham & cheese and the beef. Also love the Ceviche, Fried Yucca and the Lomo Saltado. Hard to go wrong here. Very nice people as well.
