I love love love going here. The staffs and the owner are so nice. Never ever had any issues here. Food and drinks always come out tasty and very satisfying. I could never get tired of going here. Canât wait to go back again.
Love the food and service and hate the fact that I'm probably going to gain weight because I must come here on a regular basis. After returning from Miami I had to find a Cuban sandwich. I was TD to come here by several people and I know why. The empanadas con guyaba y queso are excellent! Affordable prices. Will be back..... Soon
SOMOS translates to the simple, inclusive phrase 'WE ARE'--the guiding principle behind our restaurant, a celebration of Latin American flavors with a global perspective. A lively bar pouring the full range of Latin spirits, a gathering place for drinking
We really enjoyed our evening at Somos. New to the area. Beautiful, relaxed space and friendly staff. A huge improvement over this space's previous incarnation. The menu isn't just one type of Latin food, it offers a variety of flavors and dishes, some familiar, others obviously the chef's own creations. Our favorites were the ceviches, the quinoa-crusted fish and the wheat crisps with avocado, beans and cheese on top. Lots of flavor and crunchy goodness. Our waitress advised that the relatively small list of main dishes will grow...of these, we tried the roast chicken and the pot roast...both very satisfying on the rainy night we went. For dessert we shared the pineapple tres leches...yum! The cocktails were really good...we started at the bar and tried a few, pisco and bourbon-based drinks. Wines on tap as well as beers. My food photos didn't come out very well, but I grabbed a pic off their facebook page to give you an idea of what it's like. We would recommend you try it. We'll go back.

The restaurant is very nice and clean. We were seated quickly. I love cuban food for its boiled yuca with mojo. They cooked the yuca to perfection and the mojo was delicious. other restaurants I have visited undercooked the yuca and that was not the case here. I was a happy camper.I ordered the Bistec de Pollo a la Plancha. Big piece of chicken but lacked the mojo sauce flavor. If you order this dish, ask for some mojo sauce on the side. My son had the Chicharron de pollo. He liked it a lot. It also could have used a little more mojo sauce. My wife had the vegetariano llego which was a sampler appetizer that was too much food. She really liked it. The black beans and rice were delicious while the maduros were delicious and cooked to perfection. Food was reasonably priced and definitely worth visiting.Tip: free valet parking.
