So why only a 3? Iâll get to that. PROs: authentic Mexican food obviously each dish prepared individually with super fresh ingredients. We had tacos & chili relleno Even the rice & beans were fresh. Portions small but so weâre the prices. CONs: dining room consists of tables in open space with one whole wall a beverage fridge that is half empty. No water or beverage served at tables, you have to go to the fridge and pick something like you were in a 7/11. We came around 3 pm & the place was nearly empty. Had to go to the cashier desk & pick up our own menus while only server was busy with her I-phone. She stood over us impatiently while we looked at menus & took orders with barely a word them hurried back to her phones. Iâd have rated this higher but could not see myself recommending this place to anyone without warning them about the âambienceâ and service. But I would go back for the food alone

This is totally different from anything else in Greenwood. It's brand new and freshly painted. The menu is gluten-free and there is a sampler appetizer plate to give you a foretaste of what they serve. They have an interesting line-up of beverages (besides the usual sweet tea). I hope some day it will be open on Mondays so we could include it in our rotation. Nothing over $10, most in the $7 range.

First the Cuban sandwich pictured in the website is not what you get. My sandwich had so little in it, it was only about a quarter of an inch thick. I detected no roast pork, no pickle. All it had was very few slices of ham and a sliver of Swiss cheese with a hint of some kind of dressing. It came with about a tablespoon of cilantro sauce on the side. I also had an empanada. The filling was ground beef and was very bland. My wife had a platter with a small (less than 1/4 pound) of very dry chicken breast. The black beans looked and tasted like they came directly out of a can. The rice had no seasoning. Actually she said nothing on the plate was good and was very bland. We have enjoyed authentic Cuban food in South Florida. Buenavista Cuban doesn't come close. To make matters worse the TV was very loud with a Cuban dance video blaring making conversation difficult. We won't be going back.I'm so sorry to hear that your visit wasn't what you expected. Coming from a true Cuban culture I can assure you that we are true authentic Cuban Cuisine. However like anyone in the restaurant business we do make mistakes and will learn from the mistakes. Our portions are very fair on our Cuban Sandwich, however I do have customers that like more meat on there. It all depends on your opinion on portions. I would like to also point out that we make everything from scratch. Empanadas, papas, and beans too ect. Traditional Cuban white rice has no spices only salt and oil. Again growing up in Cuba and coming from a cooking back ground I can assure you that there are no additional spices, not sure what kind of Cuban food you have had in the past. I'm assuming it was possible Cuban-American. We do not Americanize our Cuban food here. What you find here at the cafe is what you would have at my families house. Cuba is also known for its music, and we pride in our music, however I do apologize that it was too loud, i'm sure if you would have mentioned it we could have lowered the volume. Again we are sorry it wasn't of your liking. We hope that you can give us another try in the future. With love Your local Cuban Family.

The staff was so friendly and we were served quickly. Food was just average Mexican food nothing blew us away. Queso dip has a kick to it. I had a potato burrito and it was full of onions and peppers, not alot of potato.
