This is a nice place if you want good sushi. The restaurant is very small and very basic. (It definitely isnât following the trend of the newer flashier sushi places that keep popping up everywhere with their dim lighting and loud club music). They have a great selection of traditional Japanese fair. The kids enjoyed the chicken teriyaki and rice. We order about 12 sushi rolls with the other adults at the table. Everything was very good and fresh. They even have a roll with peanut butter in it! They have a small selection of beer, sake and soft drinks.

Surprisingly good in the middle of nowhere. Recommended by a niece who used to live in West Lafayette 12 years ago. Not a lot of choices with dessert but you're not there for dessert. You're there for good quality Japanese food. A bit expensive though.

I enjoyed the Alfredo sauce with broccoli and chicken the last time I dined here. I have eaten here a couple of times and it smells great! If you love carbs this is the place!

Tsunami offers delicious and beautifully presented dishes. The heart of the menu focuses on fancy sushi rolls, and all are very tasty and plentiful. Each roll packs big flavor and a generous portion. Some of my favorites are the Tsunami Roll, Pacific Roll, and the O.M.G. Roll, but like I said, all the rolls are really enjoyable. For a more traditional dish, order the Sushi Rice Bowl, which is a simple rice and vegetable salad with fresh pieces of fish-AWESOME! Tsunami is located in the Chauncey Hill shopping center, and there are very few tables inside. Although I recommend dining in this incredibly small but huge flavored restaurant, take-out orders are very common and the quality and presentation are still evident on orders to go.
