I hate to ruin such good reviews but while this was a different experience for us, this place was missing some of our favorite items like Won Ton soup and hot tea. The soup noodles were good, but we have had better and the chicken dish was mostly fatty and grisly dark meat. After dinner I asked if we could have ordered breast chicken but was told it was not possible. The two entrees of Nammy noodles with shrimp and teriyaki chicken were good, except for the dark meat. I was gracious in giving them 3 stars. The service was fine but the place was empty on a Saturday night at 6:30. Dear Guest, Please accept our apologies in failing to meet your menu item expectations as well as meat choices. Please give me a call to discuss the matter further. I have shared the feedback with our chefs who prep the meat and they were told to be more careful during trimming and slicing process. Anyhow, We still wanted to extend our deepest apologies from all of us here at nummy. After our favorite sushi place closed, we've been searching and were happy to find a Japanese restaurant that delivers -- and gets the order right (unlike another nearby Japanese restaurant that used to be decent but started mixing up orders repeatedly). Though not quite as good as our former favorite, Tokyo Sushi is good and reliable; we've never had a bad dish. This is a great place when you're craving Japanese comfort food, such as katsu or negemaki, but don't want to leave the house. We haven't gone into the restaurant, so I can't comment on that. Prices are reasonable. I can recommend this place.

Emaculant cleanliness. Customer service is on point. We booked a reservation and were seated promptly. Hibachi Chef was friendly but his performance level was okay. It seemed as if he was a back of the house Chef they used do to a shortage on staff. Plate presentation was nice, food was good just needed more flavor. We did have a issue with an appetizer being under cooked but it was quickly replaced with no issue. Since this was our first visit, it deserves another. Every place has a day that isn't top notch.

This is a Korean/Japanese restaurant featuring an interesting menu. I love their Bento box lunches and Korean hot pot soups. I often go there for takeout sushi - prices are good and nice atmosphere. Very good customer service.
