Located in the heart of Reykjavik, Hi Noodle is the ideal rendezvous for ramen/noodle lovers.
Went here for lunch and the food was amazing! The place itself is small, but cosy. The menu is on a black board and you go up to order food. I have avoided ramen since visiting Japan as I never felt as though any ramen would live up to that experience but my partner wanted to give it a go... this was a close call and I wasn't disappointed. We had the Tonkotsu (with pork belly), Dan Dan (they ask how spicy you would like it) and pork gyoza (particularly great!). All of the food was incredible and the two guys working were really friendly. For ReykjavÃk prices, it was really good value as well. Would definitely recommend.

My daughter booked us a table at this charming seafood restaurant in downtown Reykjavik. Iâve been there before and remember having been very happy with it and if anything, it was even better this time around. Great atmosphere, very friendly and attentive service and the food was the best! We had several courses between the two of us; wasabi salad and vegetable tempura, the most beautiful and tasty sushi Iâve ever had (Volcano), plaice, salmon and a sampler of all their wonderful desserts. We left that restaurant feeling very happy and extremely full. Reykjavik has many good restaurants but this one is definitely one of the best!Dear Asa O,I am happy to receive such wonderful feedback from you regarding your recent visit with us.Your appreciation to our food, and service is highly valued. This will definitely be relayed to the whole Fish Market team to encourage them more to provide the quality of service that our brand is known for.We are looking forward to see you again soon!Kind regardsFish Market

Opened at the end of 2011 and a hot favourite in the Reykjavik restaurant scene, Sushi Social - samba & grill offers a deliciously unique take on homegrown ingredients, using Iceland's freshest flavors with Japanese and South American influences. The menu
Dined at Sushi Social on a very busy Saturday night. Staff was very accommodating as we had an issue with our reservation time. The service was very good and our selections excellently prepared. The sushi was super fresh. We dined at the "helmet" table. Our best meal while in Reyjkavik. Highly recommended.

At Public House Gastropub, we put an emphasis on serving fun dining along with some quality ambience. We use Icelandic ingredients but we add some âjapanese flairâ to our dishes as we like to have fun with our food and drinks.
The bad: Cost. Donât look at the bill. If you were looking for a deal you should be in Vegas, this is Iceland. Itâs and Island, far away from anywhere. Things cost money....donât worry about it.The good: This place has amazing food. There is local beer on tap. You have choices from Cauliflower in Buffalo sauce, to Pork sliders, to Bacon wrapped figs, to Pork Dumplings......donât believe me.....look at all the other reviews.......do it!
