Wonderful, extensive menu and an attentive and helpful staff ALONG with presentation beyond anything you would expect from the Youngstown area, Fushimi takes sushi, Japanese and Asian cuisine to a whole new level! Rarely, and I do mean RARELY do find a dining establishment where the owners and management make it a point to stop and say HI to each and every table table and inquire as to your happiness with your selection and service EACH and every time you visit! These good people, a husband and wife team, also own Pho Saigon, right up the street on South Ave, also in Boardman and albeit a far more downscale restaurant, you are offered the SAME high quality, attention and service. When was the last time you could COUNT on consistency not at a "break your bank" type of price point?? Pictured is the 12 pc Sashimi, chef's choice I had for my birthday. What a fresh, wonderful mouthwatering treat. Fushimi, you have made TRUE loyalists outta of us! Even those of us at this party not into sushi are now hooked...but you be sure and GIMME my sushi!! Thank You! From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU!

The Boardman location is bigger and less romantic than the Niles location. Jason is a great server and always has suggestions for great rolls. You can't go wrong with any item here. Try anyone of the chef's specials. The hibachi never disappoints. My favourite rolls are the ocean, and the howland roll. Every time we go we always get a different roll. The BBQ squid is delicious. The monkey roll doesn't sound very good but was surprisingly good. This is a must stop whenever the kids are home from college.

I love Japanese restaurants, the food and the show. Asuka provides more food than the average person can eat for a reasonable price. Our chef was very good and awarded me with several long shot of saki from his squirt bottle. I ordered steak and salmon. The steak was fine but the salmon was not fresh and very"fishy" tasting, unfortunately common in our area.

My wife friends and I go here every now and then and we have never had a bad experience. He always do the hibachi and yes some of the cooks are more entertaining that others but the food is always great. Salmon chicken shrimp scallops its all good. And the rice is amazing always order extra and make sure you use the yum yum sauce it make the meal twice as good. And the sushi rolls are always fresh and delicious. A must try
