Casa b & b is set in a stunning location - the lagoa do paraÃso is just beautiful and somewhere to definitely visit and if possible to stay for a night or 2. I'm reluctant to recommend the b & b though purely based on my personal experiences. I was hosted in what they call the oca - a igloo like structure set away from the lagoon. It's beautifully designed - the kind of place that would feature in a house and garden magazine - unfortunately for me, there wasn't enough light. There is only one window that doesn't let much sunlight in, so I relied on internal lamps during the day. It's a shame that the beautiful sunlight of the location doesn't figure more in the design. Additionally there's no outside space for the structure. Other places I stayed had their own hammocks and terraces to chill out in the evenings - and dry swimsuits. The only places here with hammocks to chill are in the main dining area and close to people eating which is uncomfortable. That said the building and people are lovely and the food great - a plus that they prepare sushi and sashimi with locally caught fish and seafood (although bizarrely they use frozen sliced bread for breakfast). Would only recommend this place if staying in rooms in the main building which has outside space and windows. The quarto do vidro especially! Dear Maria TeresaI am sorry that you choose the "wrong" suite for you. But it was your choice. We didn´t ask you to stay in the Oca. We have 4 diferents style of rooms and all are same price: suÃtes with veranda and hammock and lake view, glass room with lake view, oca and suÃte with veranda to backyard. Each one has pictures in the site. The guests choose what is best for them.At that period we had available: oca, suÃtes with veranda, hammock and lake viewsuÃte 3 with veranda with view to backyard.About the bread: We do not use frozen bread for breakfast. We use the best fresh bread that we can get around here. There are no bakery with several types of bread in Jijoca as you have in many cities. You didn´t want to eat the fresh bread that was in the breakfast and just FOR COURTESY we offer the baguette that I bought â FOR ME NOT FOR THE GUESTS - in Rio de Janeiro and of course I kept it frozen. IT WAS JUST A COURTESY as you didnât like the fresh one. I am sorry again to try to do our best.I hope you come next time and I am sure that everything goes better.

The elegant deck, high and welcoming, the sensation of the breeze, the fresh seafood taste, the creative na talented hands of the sushiman, under the moon and stars resides the Kaze image. Don´t miss the chance to experience a night sush as this in Jeri.
It was quite unexpected to find a decent Japanese restaurant in Jeri. But they delivered an authentic and refreshing distraction from the sea of mediocre options available in the village. Miso soup, sunomono salad, and all the expected options will delight your taste buds when you're getting far too accustomed to the bland flavors pushed out of the majority of restaurants here.

We were approached by the owner Edson to try his new sushi restaurant for a sushi festival. He kept on selling his place with his supposed to be super-fresh fish that had just been delivered an hour before. He said they had just opened a few weeks before. Checking out the reviews, I figure that this place has been around for at least 3 months. We ordered the tuna and miso-soup, and surprisingly there was no tuna available; only salmon and robalo (white fish). Upon our order, the staff should already mention that there was no tuna but she took the order and came back with the bad news.Anyway, the robalo was good - so why not putting it on the menu? The salmon was ordinary, a bit like soap though.Miso-soup was the worst not edible. Some instant kind of unidentifiable mix with tons of salt added and frozen-dried soy-cubes.We again talked to Edson wondering why there was no tuna. He quite arrogantly replied that there will be tuna tomorrow and left our conversation. We overheard that he was actually a dentist. I never heard of a dentist opening a restaurant....thus he cannot be such a good dentist either, he is definitely not a good restaurateur.Overall, I can only assume that people who provide this outlet with an excellent rating are either his friends or have never been to a real japanese sushi place.
