We have driven past this restaurant on a number of occasions and eventually had an opportunity to stop. We were not disappointed. Friendly Italian staff, great pizza and good penne. Very good value . Hope to be able to go again sometime soon.

I came here with my family (2 teenage boys). The restaurant is quirky, welcoming and friendly. (Not pretentious). Staff are really nice and friendly. Alex and his wife Patrizia have a real passion for their business and food. The menu is chosen of the day. He discussed the food choices and ingredients at the table. The quality of the food is just fantastic.Heavenly. Wonderful. You are not rushed in anyway shape or form. You can play games between courses. If you are in the area, you have to visit.A pure diamond.

The girlfriend and I popped in after running around town.The waiter (I think his name was Jonny) was very welcoming and a delightThe food was at a high quality and the prices were so cheap.We went to leave but weâre asked by the waiter to hold on a second. He came out with complimentary cheesecake which was to die forIt goes without saying we will be back soon

Tamburinos has always been a good, welcoming Italian restaurant but it has now moved up a level. The welcome is as warm as ever and the staff friendly and attentive, but new decor and new menus make it even better. As well as the conventional Italian dishes, including first class and inventive pizzas, there is now a wider range of more varied choices. Try the pollo al funghi in red wine or the sea bass with spinach. They obviously do a good line in family celebration: there were two birthday tables on a Tuesday night. Domenico, the owner, is a lively presence: just ask him about the picture on the stairs of his 'arrest', for charity not for crime, raising impressive sums for the local hospital! For good value, good choice and a top friendly Italian experience, it would be hard to beat Tamburinos.
