Much hype about the restaurant as the other three had been there and this was my first time. Sat inside and it was extremely loud! It was a Saturday night...in a resort town...in the summer...and FULL. But, I struggled to hear my tablemates. The bread was as delicious as advertised. No salad came with dinner so we dove into our shrimp scampi on pasta. Two others had the same as I but I was disappointed with the shrimp. There were many of them but mine were overcooked! Actually had to cut them with a knife. Very tasty dish though. Would go back but NOT on a Sat. night!

Small plates, craft pizza
Came in for a bite after seeing alot of classic and antique boats. Dixie land band playing in the gazebo. Perfect day. We ordered a beat salad and a Noonan (?) pizza. My wife dies not like beets si this was a test. She liked the yellow beets and the fresh mozzarella was nice. The pizza was excellent. Thin crust with nice browning on the crust. The white wine blend should have stayed in the bottle or be poured out. Great ambiance and service was outstanding. Thus is an excellent pizza restaurant and lots of other choices. Four thumbs up.

My husband and recently went to Morro's Kitchen, on a Monday evening for dinner. The place used to be an automobile shop, you would never know walking in. It is a modern upscale Italian restaurant in Skaenatles, NY. We we're greeted and seated promptly. The place is beautifully remodeled. We started the evening with some bread and olive oil for dipping, and ordered the crab/shrimp cakes. Two perfectly Brown cakes and two sauces one aioli and one type of red sauce came out on the plate with a small side salad of arugula. They were good a little greasy, I preferred the aioli to the red sauce. For our entrees I ordered the Lingiuni with almond pesto with shrimp and I added scallops to my dish. My husband ordered the chicken parmesan. The plates where gorgeous. Mine came out with a bed of Linguine with shrimp and large gorgeously carmelized scallops. My husband's was two pieces of chicken parmesan with bubbling cheese on top with a side of rigatoni. As soon as dinner was delivered we were asked if we wanted fresh cracked salt and pepper added to our meal. I thought this to be odd, well seasoned food shouldn't need any added salt or pepper, and I hadn't even tasted it yet to know if I needed any. My pasta dish was delicious, though I feel the scallops peared better with the dish than the shrimp. The saltiness of the scallops truly enhanced the flavors of the pesto. My husband's dish was ok, nothing exciting to write home about, but he did enjoy it. Dessert we got to go. They make homemade gelato and sorbet. We ordered the chocolate lava cake with a wild berry sorbet and fried ravioli with an apple pie filling that was paired with salted caramel gelato. Our bill came to $94. This is without any drinks other than a Coke and iced tea. Though Skaenatles is a small quaint town, that is very pricey. So I'm sure the prices our fair for the area. We ate the desserts later the chocolate lava cake was an amazing. I'm a huge chocoholic and this fulfilled my chocolate craving. It is one of the best chocolate lava cakes I have had. The smooth creaminess of the chocolate was delicious. The fried ravioli's came only with 2 ravioli's but they were good. Both the gelato and sorbet were amazing as well. The servers were wonderful and the atmosphere of the restaurant was upscale but casual. A nice little find.

We get pizza here a few times every summer. Our favorites are buffalo chicken style and pepperoni. This time we tried wings. They were very good too. I liked the crispy outside. We chose mild, and they were very mild but still good. Next time we'd get medium. Served with blue cheese, fresh carrots and celery. The establishment is currently changing- there's no longer a health food country store. They're expanding the restaurant. It will have more seating and a wine and beer selection is coming too. The young man who helped us was very nice and told us about the plans. Good service and good food! Thanks so much for the positive review. Our transition is taking a little longer than we would have hoped. Hopefully, we should have our approvals from the state liquor authority and the town board within another week or so. Then we will open up the indoor and outdoor seating. We do plan on rolling out our new menu beginning July 4th (either way). We appreciate your understanding of the delay in our transition. That's one of the nice things about owning a family business in a small community. Thanks again!
