I was looking for really good italian cuisine and found this place on TripAdvisor and decided to give it a try. Little did I know I was in for quite a treat because my dinner was outstanding. The restaurant is tucked away in a small plaza, and it wouldn't immediately catch your eye because the restaurant is in the basement...so look closely for a door with "Rugantino" on it. When I walked in there we're two large tables of locals celebrating a birthday, so I knew immediately I had chosen somewhere great. You truly feel like you're in Italy with the atmosphere and wonderful artwork. Definitely worth trying..I would go back again and again.

We ate here one cold and rainy evening while staying nearby. The food was delicious; the pizza dough light, salads innovative and deserts beautifully presented. The owners were charming and helped us navigate the menu as we unfortunately don't speak Spanish or Italian. Highly recommended

Tired of Tapas - this restaurant has the best pasta dishes. There are 4 pages of great pasta dishes on the menu. I had the fantastic Ragu Antico (the dish on the front cover of the menu) which was a penne pesto, tomato and stracciatella cheese - amazing taste and al dente pasta, whilst hubby had a tasty spaghetti dish with prawns & pecorino. These dishes were large and could easily be shared. On a lovely evening, we sat outside in the courtyard looking up at a beautiful historic building. Service was friendly and fast. Great night.
