Had been operating in Osaka Kitashinchi '36 is closed once "Tritone". Through the charging period of one year, changed the location to Oyodominami Kita-ku, Osaka, to change the store name to "Alto Tritone" was reopened.
We booked this restaurant after searching Tripadvisor and reading some of the positive reviews that others had written in the past. We had heard about the homemade pasta and the unique method used by this Japanese family restaurant. When the server brought out our pasta that he would run through his handmade machine (with guitar strings) we were excited and were entertained by the process. A unique and interesting method of preparing pasta, a first for us. When the pasta was brought out it was well presented and to their credit, tasted great. However, there were some problems that I think others fail to mention,1. The pasta we ordered had shrimp added to the top of it. The heads of the shrimp were still attached when cooked. In the mother/waitress attempt to explain to us that we could eat the meat inside the head of the shrimp (which we already knew), she reached down (perhaps out of frustration due to the language barrier) and picked up my shrimp with her bare hands and motioned that we could break the head apart to get at the meat. We were shocked. Who touches a customer's food, let alone with their bare hands? Unacceptable.2. We didn't get any bread with our pasta but had to order it extra for 200 yen. That's 200 yen for two small pieces of cold bread. The restaurant doesn't need to be this cheap. Serve a few slices of bread with the pasta--but do heat it up first. All in all, a nice dinner but our experience was marred by what we witnessed.

After lots of (great) Japanese food I needed a day off and followed some good reviews about this restaurant. And they all where right. The food was fantastic. The marinated seafood (octopus and scallops) and tuna salad where just gorgeous and the main (lamb chops) were good as well. But the best of all was the warm and friendly atmosphere. Almost made me a little home sick.

La Veduta is a destination for exquisite foods prepared in the best italian culinary traditions.
The ambience in the dining room was formal yet relaxed. The service levels throughout the dining experience provided by Charles were nothing less than perfect throughout the entire meal. Most importantly, the food was simply tasty. I chose the scampi carpaccio and the kobe beef rossini. My compliments and my sincere thanks to the chef. While this restaurant certainly is expensive but I cannot wait to return.

We recently stayed at the Ritz in Osaka with our kids. We travel often in various big cities all over the world and had to write a review of this hotel and most importantly, Splendido and its Exec Chef: Orianna Tirabassi. Not only is her Italian-ness exemplified in her cooking and her teamâs approach, but she literally changes the air in the room, bringing warmth and happiness to her guests. The breakfast buffet is top notch and the food delicious. Ci vedremmo ancora Orianna! Dear Santuri0,We are delighted to learn about your recent experience at The Ritz-Carlton, Osaka.Your comments on breakfast are very rewarding for Chef Oriana and our Ladies & Gentlemen as they all work very hard and put a lot of passion to deliver excellence, many thanks for sharing it in Trip Advisor. We very much look forward to welcoming you back and perhaps for your next visit you might have a chance to also try one of our other dining options, as we offer 1 Michelin Star French dining in La Baie, authentic Cantonese cuisine in Xiang Tao and five different Japanese cuisines in Hanagatami. With Warmest regards,Renan Astolpho Director of Food & Beverage
