Have 2 lovely meals here T this restaurant.The lady who runs it is very sweet and welcoming.We ate A LOT both meals and everything was excellent. Pizza/pho/noodles/morning glory etc. and very inexpensive. Much preferred over the 'touristy' restaurants across the road who just try and get you in but then offer really poor service once you're seated.

2 min walk to the station. Fast WiFi. Vast menu with decent Vietnamese and Western fast food (in case youâre missing it) prepared in a tiny kitchen. 2 laid back dogs and clean toilets. Good choice to stop before entering the train. Rather grab a bite here than snacking in the corner shop in the train station where prices are steep.

Enjoyed a quiet evening with delicious pizzas, salads and chips. Pizzas in particular were great. After a few days of rice and noodles my teenage kids were looking for a change! Great, friendly service. Nothing was too much trouble. Not very busy but perhaps we came quite early (7pm). Would definitely recommend.

In search of Western food in Ninh Binh, we ended up at Italia. Unlike the other two reviewers, we both felt totally ripped off and regretted not going for Vietnamese food afterall. The menu was in English (sort of) but when asking what is on a "mix pizza" they couldn't give an answer. The pizza's were absolute rubbish and were obviously from a freezer. The base was thick and doughy, and the topping had no taste whatsoever. The pizza's were very overpriced 100k-150k VND. Never again!
