At La Tavola, our elegant ambiance, world class team, and unmistakable sophisticated touch, offer our guests a truly unforgettable dining experience. La Tavola gives the finest attention to detail and inspiration to each of its meals - pasta made in-house
My wife and I ate dinner and were pleasantly surprised with everything. We were greeted warmly upon arrival and seated on a white tablecloth-covered spacious table next to one of many windows. Our waitress was cheerful, helpful, and prompt. I had the Spagetti Putanesca and my wife the Tagliatelli with Mushrooms. Both were well prepared, very tasty, and plentiful, although it was the quality and not the quantity that impressed us most. The locale, with ample parking, is spacious and well decorated.Definitely a "must return" restaurant.

Serving fresh pasta, house bread, beer, wine and cocktails nightly for dinner, Mama's is Ludlow's best option for hand made Italian. And coming soon, lunch and take away will also be an option. Everything is made to order in a renovated Main Street buildi
Walking in you're greeted by a friendly, but befuddled hostess. The menu is full of excellent choices. The pasta is hand made and delicious. The portions are well sized, except for the bread which is served in tiny amounts. The service, overall, was pleasant but slow at best.

We dined here on Super Bowl Sunday (night). It was snowing like crazy and most places were closed. Well, let me tell you, they missed out. This place was GREAT! Food, fun, and amazing service. The food was fantastic (linguine with white clam sauce--incredible), don't miss the Cesar salad and my hubby had chicken parm. Our kids loved the apple dumplings for dessert. But, whatever you do, make sure BETSY is your server. She will make your meal ideal. She is friendly, helpful, accommodating, and a true Vermonter. She makes it extra special and gives great recommendations and is so nice to kids. You can't go wrong stopping here. You won't be disappointed.
