This restaurant was absolutely perfect. Make sure to call ahead and reserve as this is a very small establishment with many locals eating lunch at the counter while the tables at the back are reserved. Nino welcomes you in a very personal and warm manner. We had a lunch special cold pasta with vegetables from Nino’s garden and a pasta with mozzarella and tomato (all fresh). Nino presentes us with a personal gift that included our name written in Kanji in a cardboard. If you are in Nara, please don’t miss this jewel. The food is first class but the service and personal attention is what moved me.Miguel L.

Pizzas were good but about half the size of what I like to see. Only came in around ¥1000 so cant complain too much. Good cocktail selection and nice enough place. Just wasn't wowed by the portion size, not to mention the prosciutto and salad pizza seems to literally be just that on bread with no cheese or tomato so quite possibly the healthiest pizza ever.
Had the best margherita pizza I have ever had. Strikingly wonderful tomatoes over delectable mozzarella with an amazing wood fired thin crust. The other diners spoke similarly about their pies. Appears like a food truck but is more than that, with outside dining and good wines. Try it you will love it.
