My group of fellow students were traveling and stopped in Goldsboro. Brooklyn Pizzeria gave a few of us a feeling of nostalgia. The atmosphere, the hustle & bustle of the employees, and the great food all combined to cause us to reminisce down memory lane. A great experience.

Being from Jersey and having lived in Italy for 3 years one tends to grimmace when everyone wants to order pizza or dine in Italian food...I will say after having to endure other "pizza" places in Goldsboro this place was the light at the end of the tunnel. A fellow jersey spouse led me to hope. Lol.At first we tried take out (sadly they don't deliver to Pikeville...no one does) and it was as close as you will get if you know what actual pizza is suppose to taste like. We drive the 20 min to get it. Worth it. Dining in was nice too. The building its in looks deceiving however inside it reminds me of a small little community of shops. I get my hair done next door....also amazing. Anywho their menu is quite large. Had the chicken parm. Excellent...and massive portions. Prices were fair. They also graciously give Military discount. Stop telling yourself Olive garden is real Italian food and go to Mimmos.Signed, a Jersey native

Service was good, could be improved. Food was standard fare. Greeting at the front door was immediate. Environment was clean. Our assigned waitress was good, but again the other service could be improved (body language, tone, choice of words, feeling of being rushed or inconveniencing people). Four overall because of the positives of the greeting, waitress, food, and environment.

We did visit on a recommendation from a friend, dine-in and ordered a variety of items, I of course got a steak sub,since it's in there name, it was fine but I should have got it to go, I didn't enjoy the aroma of asian while I was try to eat my sub,just ruined the taste somehow. We wont return,Thanks
