Went with my wife and mum and dad 11/08/19, umming and ahhing about this review.Firstly the restaurant was hot, but ultimately at the mercy of the elements as it's on the basement floor. The service was fantastic from some of the waitresses but poor from the head waiter (?), leant over family members and nearly spilt hot sauce over my my mum, had she not moved.Food was a bit bland, decent enough, sending it back wouldn't have changed anything as the way it was cooked was fine but a bit flavourless. Menu was extensive but considering I had the "signature dish", I was disappointed.Birthdays are a thing, there's a loud bell, singing, if you don't like that then don't go, if you're happy to join in then join in!For one of the top rated restaurants in Glossop I'm underwhelmed, there are better places to eat I'm afraid. Would I go again...? Only if other restaurants are fully booked, sorry Napoli :)

Visited this restaurant yesterday around 6:30, door was opened to us on arrival the staff were lovely. The garlic bread with cheese was 10/10 absolutely amazing we also ordered the ribs and meatballs to start they were absolutely mouth watering. The ribs were cooked to perfection with the meat so soft nearly falling of the bone so easy to eat. The meatballs were full of taste and the sauce went great with the garlic bread too!! For mains we had spag Bol and the seafood pasta the la mare I think it was called with a bowl for the mussels to be put in not many restaurants would cater to this and expect you to leave the shells on your plate. Each meal was brought out hot and service was so quick. First time trying this place but we will definitely be back again. Great value for what you get unfortunately didnât get a dessert we were stuffed but I bet they are amazing!!! Thanks again, what a lovely hidden gem!

Lovely restaurant that reflects a warm welcoming atmosphere as soon as you enter. After frequenting Mama Miaâs in Hollingworth for many years itâs lovely that the family have opened this gem of a restaurant in Glossop. On our last visit we took their 2 course set menu which has plenty of choice and is excellent value at £12.95. This visit we went off their à la carte menu. I chose the chicken and mushroom tagliatelle which was delicious and my friend had the pizza pollo which had loads of topping and a lovely thin crispy base. Both dishes went down a storm. Food was accompanied by a bottle of their house red, a nice merlot really smooth and not too heavy. Excellent value with genuine personable service.A really enjoyable evening and already looking forward to our next visit.

Conveniently situated adjacent to our Travelodge and had not booked. I suppose a relatively quiet Thursday night but nevertheless we were soon given a table of our choice and service good throughout. The food was hot, tasty and well presented. Also enjoyed a large Peroni although it is expensive at just under £7 but popular judging by other customers.Hard working pleasant staff.
