Having tried a few other âhighly-ratedâ t/a restaurants during our stay we finally got it right at Osteria! Wow. Very small menu, which I always find reassuring, and everything we had was perfection. This is a tiny restaurant, 3 tables downstairs and probably not many more upstairs. One front of house guy - he was good - and the chef, who made an appearance later on during our meal and was interesting and very friendly to chat with.I could babble on about how good this pasta was and how perfect that carpaccio was, or I could just say if you donât go youâre missing out. The wine list is more extensive than the menu and has some really good wines on.Just go.

Absolutely fantastic meal. One of the best I have ever had.We stumbled on this as the place we wanted to go was fully booked and what a find.Service was excellent and each of the four meals was delightful. All enjoyed and would recommend in a flash.Thank you Ginner, during the Bank Holiday week-ends and due to the large amount of requests, we do not accept booking and I am really happy you found and enjoyed us. We stayed at the campsite for three nights. We had planned to have a BBQ each night but the weather defeated us one evening so we tried the Pizza place in the campsite and we weren't disappointed. There was a much larger selection than expected and they even agreed to do us a 1/2 Pizza as I am awkward so and so.

This restaurant forms part of the Sygun Fawr Hotel in Beddgelert, but non-residents can dine here too. An imaginitive menu with a combination of traditional English and Thai food, all of which is freshly prepared (so don't expect 'fast' food) and full of flavour. Table staff were friendly and very helpful. Our family has been taking short breaks at this hotel for more than 20 years, through different owners, but the service in both the hotel and the restaurant sides of the business has always been excellent. It's not cheap, but then quality often isn't.
