Passwaters Restaurant is located in the Heritage Shores Clubhouse in Bridgeville, Delaware. The food and the ambiance are excellent. The executive chef, Morgen Eldred, has brought the cuisine to an entirely new level. The Sunday brunch is a special treat.
We stopped by one Sunday, not knowing what to expect, as we are not residents. We had made reservations, but they weren't necessary. For the first 45 minutes, we were the only ones there - however at noon, the place filled up. It was an awkward setup - the food was in two different places, and the second area was not well marked. Typical fare - eggs, meat, potatoes, roast pork and veggies. The omelet station needed a bit of work. The gentleman was friendly enough, but his burners kept going out, and he struggled with more than 2 omelets. I guess if you are a resident, and you don't want to go too far from home, it's fine - but I don't know that we'll make a second trip.

Tony's prepares and serves the real deal if you like home cooked cucina napolitana just like (sorry mamma and nonna) we used to enjoy as kids. On a recent trip to and from OC, the chef, Salvatore (the son-in-law of recently deceased Tony), cooked us up several delights chosen from his extensive menu and he promised more specialized dishes if we just called ahead from the road. Next time it's linguine with white clam sauce! See youse soon, Sal. A presto.

Driving through Greenwood on Rte 16 you have to slow down to 25 MPH - or see "The Man" - and at that speed you can easily pull into Tamburelli's for pizza, sub or other Italian dish, in a cozy family-friendly spot. We've enjoyed: diverse antipasti; salads; pastas; and parms. Last week we had a glorious pizza bianca and promised on our next beach trip we'll try their regular Neapolitan and even a Sicilian if we dare. Good food; friendly service; fair prices. Great combination for locals or travelers.
What to do and see in Bridgeville, United States: The Best Places and Tips
My husband and I stopped by there on Saturday for lunch why we were out shopping. We try to find places that the locals go to because then we know the food will be good. This is a small place with a lot to offer. As soon as you walk in the place the aroma was amazing and so was the staff. I got a small chicken cheese steak and my husband got the small mushroom cheese steak; we also got a chicken buffalo roll to split. Even though it was a small sub it was very fulling the only thing that would made our experience better would be if we had a cooler then we could have gotten large subs and brought some home with us. Thank you for a wonderful meal.
