This is the restaurant associated with Kalma Hotel, itâs where you take breakfast. Decor is distressed shabby chic with smart modern touches.Choice is wide, self service buffet.Hot stuff isnât brilliant. Fruit, cereals, bread, pastries and cold cuts are fine.Thanks for your comment. We will improve hot food at breakfast for the next time. We remind you our restaurant for mealsRegards

What a find! This place is AMAZING! Michelin Star quality food prepared and served with such attention to detail. Two very personable and enthusiastic chefs who clearly want their punters to leave satisfied, satiated and happy. One of the chefs came out into the dining room to explain each course (in English that he apologised for but was actually very good). Certain dishes were partly prepared in front of us. Not one dish (we had the â¬45 tasting menu) was a disappointment. The 12 hour roasted veal cheek was a true fall apart on your fork experience. We were taken into the kitchen to meet the other chef and be presented with the final dessert course (that could have been because it wasnât too busy a day) which we enjoyed in a sitting room complete with grand fire place where we were offered tea and coffee. Complementary glass of cava on arrival and wines ranged from just over â¬10 to about â¬90. We had a very nice bottle (chosen with the help of the Vivino app) at the lower end of that scale and werenât disappointed. Weâve booked to go back already. There are horse/pony paddocks which my 2 year old LOVED. He stroked every pony and there are friendly cats & dogs too. Also a small playground for bigger kids. Visited Cal Figarot on a recommendation of our Spanish hostess there was 14 of us so we had to have a set tapas menu and could not choose from the menu (even though it was all tapas) the food (even the Patatas bravas) was not good, there was no redeeming features to mention except for the food that we could see being served to the locals which was a world away from the end cuts of chorizo and local white/black pudding sausage that was served and I must give special mention to the local âTomato Breadâ as it is listed on the menu, this was about 6 small toast soldiers of reasonably nice bread with 2 quarters of a tomato on the side??? And at over â¬350 for the bill we expected better. However the local castelliers (human tower) train here Mondayâs and Fridays and you can book a table to sit and watch a truly amazing human spectacle not to be missed, just donât bother with the food....
