Weir Grove is a modern, independent fine dining restaurant in the heart of the beautiful Berkshire village of Wargrave. We offer a small but regularly changing menu of delicious international food with the occasional British and Swedish twist. Wednesday n
We said we would return and we did. It was another fabulous roast dinner - this time beef and excellent value. Love the way they start with a simple shared starter and then a huge serving of veggies and succulent roast beef. Highly recommended but book early because space is limited.

After 20 years of serving Twyford Village, our food has evolved from Pizza & Pasta to a wider cuisine on the request from our customers, serving Grill Meats, English Breakfast to Sunday Roast. On the 5th July 2018 we relaunched to an International Restaur
This Italian fayre restaurant was recommended and so thought we should give it a try. Not disappointed. The usual Italian offerings in a pleasant if busy light and airy, welcoming dual aspect premises. Food was hot and tasty, the portions large. Prices slightly less that the Italian chains offer but quality better. Service was good and attentive but not bothersome at all. No hesitation in recommending.
Where to eat Pub food in Twyford: The Best Restaurants and Bars

Living locally, this great little pub has been my go to for years. The new owners have bought a fantastic new lease of life and it feels much more comfortable and welcoming now! The owners and staff are very friendly and always happy to listen and help, they have a good selection of beers, ales and wines and the home cooked food is fantastic. They put on an amazing Sunday roast and occasionally manage a barbecue (when the weather permits!). The inside of the pub has been redecorated and is much lighter and more welcoming and they have a lovely enclosed garden with lots of room for children and dogs! Would definitely recommend a visit!!

We've now enjoyed three evenings here this summer and are already thinking about a re-visit in 2020. The cooking is more of the home cooked variety than fine dining .... but its in keeping with the whole evening, which is relaxed, friendly and comfortable. Always a good choice - we ate on both Friday night and Sunday night last weekend when the menu was the same - but just changed our choices and had two different, tasty meals. Their young staff are always smiling and professional. Tables are allocated to you before you arrive with your programme and tickets on the table ... it all works like clockwork and makes for a wonderful evening. The fact that you can leave your bottle of wine on your table and come back and finish it in the interval ... it couldn't be simpler (or more fun).
