If you are not a local you might not know about Restaurant Krebsbach. Hidden in the village of Lana, Italy is an amazing restaurant that has a trout hatchery.You can order off the menu or catch your own, take it home or have it prepare in the restaurant. After dinner go out and sit on the benches around the pond stocked with trout, so relaxing, it doesn't get better than that!

I took my parents there for their 56th wedding anniversary. The restaurant is very nice (I would avoid eating in the "stube"), very typical Tyrolean. The service was extraordinary and the food exceptional. I actually found it difficult to choose just one starter, one main course and one desert. The wine recommended was perfect and it was one of the more reasonably priced one. Book well in advance

It has been a while since we were there; but, we are planning to go back soon. This magnificent gem in the Italian Alps is a five star experience! Fabulous views, spectacular food, and the ambiance of a Hapsburgâs hunting lodge! This is a rare find while climbing the Brenner pass either on your way to Austria or visiting Italy. Recommended by the hotel staff, we visited this nice restaurant for dinner. It offers variety of dishes...large selection of pizzas and some Tyrolean dishes. I opted for a nice salad with grilled chicken. Chicken was grilled very nicely with flavorful marinade. I don't think salad was dressed which I thought was very untypical. Pepper-fused olive oil and balsamic vinegar took care of that. Though it wasn't too warm, we sat outside enjoying our last evening in Italy.
