The Parsons Pig, now under new management has undergone several improvements. New widescreen HD Tv's showing BT and SKY sports. New Food me nu incorporating Grills and Indian curries and British favorites like Cod n Chips, Sausage n Mash, Minted Lamb Shan
I can't stop raving about this place. It's always brimming with atmosphere and serves good food, catering to the Indian and European palette. The Parson's Pig is nearly always busy, which is a recommendation in itself. Be sure to make a telephone reservation especially if you intend to visit over the weekend. The manager, who is recognisable by his iconic trade mark trouser braces is clearly on top of his game and runs a tight ship with his waiting staff, so the service is exemplary. Cutlery, crockery and glassware are sparkling clean and this attention to detail doesn't go unnoticed. This is a restaurant with high standards. I have no hesitation in recommending it and will continue to visit on a regular basis.Dear Jeff, Thank you for taking the time to write a review with your much-valued comments. We are really delighted to know you enjoyed your meal and it was a pleasure serving you. Positive feedback is motivating for our staff and improves their commitment to their roles in our industry. Our Restaurant Extension is also complete. Stopped for a kids meal and some sides at Gatwick. Prices very reasonable (cheaper then Wetherspoons!!), quick service and good food. Loved the pay online feature that accepted PayPal and allowed us to leave quicker! Great experience.

We stopped off here for a quick bite, having arrived at the hotel just a few minutes before. Food was freshly cooked and well presented. Waitress was lovely. Very friendly. Took a while to pay - because she was attending to a lady who had fallen nearby - we didn't mind!

Sip an aperitif as you relax on an armchair, then enjoy sumptuous a la carte dining in Amy's restaurant. Enjoy the bright, contemporary tones of the newly refurbished Amy's restaurant in the Hilton London Gatwick Airport hotel. Offering international a la
There are not many choices when one has to find a semi-decent place to eat in Gatwick, but Hilton front desk warmly recommended Amy's (though there is another restaurant on site as well) and even booked a table for me. To begin with, there was no hostess and I had to wonder right inside and try and get someone to pay attention and get me a table. Everything was extremely slow, I had to wait forever to get a menu, then forever more to place an order. The portions are very tiny, even by European standards and the sides have to be selected and paid for separately. The food itself (Pan-roasted Cod) was decent, but not overwhelming (though quite pricy) I asked for the menu again as there was clearly room for dessert and then waited for 20 minutes (!!!) for someone to take my dessert selection. During this time servers, including the one who brought me dessert menu, ran past my table multiple times, but they were clearly way too busy to pay any attention to me. In the end of the day a supervisor, seeing that I've been nursing a glass of wine all this time, brought me my bill! Not asking whether I wanted anything, but sort of hinting - move on, lady, you've been occupying the table long enough! Sure, I've been sitting there in total well over an hour! And this is what they call "service" and add a discretionary 12% charge on top of the bill! I will most likely stay at Hilton again as it is super convenient of one has a late arrival or a early departure, but I would never ever eat at Amy's again.
