I found out about this cafe through trip adviser as i was spending a day around Clifton and visiting the bridge. The first impression i had was of how clean and tidy this place was, the service was friendly and fast and there was a good relaxed atmosphere. I ordered the caramalised onion panni with cheese and bacon along with a coffee and a brownie. The food was very good the panni had a generous filling and was very tasty, this is not a criticism at all just my personal preference but i think serving with a small side salad and a few crisps would improve presentaion, but as i say thats just me, the coffee too was also very good and i have to say the chocolate brownie was the best i have had in a long while. So overall a big thumbs up, its a cafe i would certainly recommend and one i will be calling into again when im next in Bristol.Hey,Thank you so much for giving us this lovely review and feedback! So glad you enjoyed that panini, Thatâs a new one and we are keeping it on our new menus. Also glad you enjoyed your coffee and Brownie Look forward to seeing you again soonFlick and Team x

Bringing Sri Lankan street food to the UK. Experience an explosion of flavours in our vegetables, meats & fish along with sweet and fiery Cocotails... a naturally abundant vegan & vegetarian cuisine.
We had booked a table and would definitely recommend booking as the restaurant was very busy all evening. Staff recommended a number of dishes to order and were knowledgeable about the food on the menu, we found that they recommended way too much food and we ended up taking a lot home. Whilst the food was nice and some of the curry dishes were tasty, it was not very similar in many ways to Sri Lankan street food as it claims. In particular the Kottu was very disappointing. Also the rice was dry, bland and a relatively small portion given that it is often such a substantial part of a Sri Lankan meal. Overall it was a nice place to eat, something a bit different however if you are looking for authentic Sri Lankan street food this is not the place to go!Hi Danielle,Weâre sorry to hear that your experience with us wasnât anything other than 5 stars! We are a small group of Sri Lankan friends and family, blended with talent from Bristol and the UK. We are cooking our family recipes from back home (watched over by Granny Gerti, 82!). Our head chefs are all Sri Lankan born and owners of the business, so food is our anchor. We prepare and cook fresh daily. In terms of portion sizes - if it wasn't explained at the time, we serve our food in a small-plate style, similar to tapas. I'm sorry that the food wasn't up to scratch this time around!Overall it sounds like you had an enjoyable experience however which I am very glad to hear and I do hope we can welcome you back to TCT in the near future!

At first we walked past as the place was empty whilst others nearby looked more popular. Looked on TripAdviser and persuaded by the good reviews. Really please we changed our minds as the food is excellent. A good voice of staters the jackfruit was amazing. We then shared chicken wings and the short ribs both delicious. My only criticism is the wine price starting at £25 is ridiculous. It is perfectly possible to get a decent markup on a bottle under £20. Get a good wine under £20 and it would be perfect. Hello Andy Weâre delighted you chose our restaurant. Our team puts a lot of effort into providing our guests with the best experience possible and so weâre very happy you enjoyed your food.
