My wife and I had dinner here tonight. I had Satay chicken in peanut sauce which was delicious. My wife had Satay Goat in ginger sauce which the waitress said was actually lamb. I thought it tasted somewhat rancid. My wife also had meatballs and noodle soup which was too spicy for my wife's liking.

This was my first experience of eating Indonesian food and I enjoyed what I had. I chose one of the vegetarian main courses (Gado Gado Surakarta) which consisted of tofu, beansprouts, cabbage and chunks of what I think was compacted sticky rice. Everything was very white and plain tasting, but the peanut sauce that accompanied it was one of the nicest things I'd had in a long time and gave the food a great flavour. My friends all enjoyed their food too. It was good value for money and I'll go back again when I'm next in Leiden. I'd recommend booking as we were there on a Monday night and it was very busy.

This huge restaurant, recently open has great service, lots of choices, super sushi and even a place for kids to play. The concept is you pay a fixed price for all you can eat including drinks, except strong liquor. I had a few wonderful trips to the sushi/sashimi bar and it was not disappointing at all. The other dishes were also great and you of have a choice of Japanese, Chinese, European and Indonesian dishes. Great place for a party or large group. Friendly personnel and clean hygienic bathrooms. Plan and going back with a larger group.

We had a celebration diner there and choose two different rijsttafels, one chinese and one indonesian rijsttafel for two . Lovely display of good asian food, with all our favorites served on one plate. As usual in The Netherlands were the portions more than sufficient. The service is very good, friendly and quick. The only negative I can find was that they didn't have a sweet enough white wine (dessert wine) to serve my sisters taste and that the brown beer they displayed in the menu wasn't the old brown beer (sweet) she expected. Both of the rijsttafels included an extra serving of fruit and cream ( lovely) and tea or coffee.
