Had the chicken korma and lamb vindaloo with garlic naan and rice. Both dishes were very good. Large portions with excellent flavour. The service was top notch and we were given a complimentary appetizer. The other thing that I noticed was the cleanliness. Everything was top notch, especially the bathrooms.100% will be back.

Went for dinner and was given the choice of the buffet or ordering off the menu. We chose the buffet and were treated to soup, salad bar (your typical offerings), rice, samosas, and a variety of other Indian dishes (curried goat, butter chicken, potatoes & peas, Chana masala etc). For dessert they had the Galub Jammun (bits of âcakeâ soaked in rose water flavored simple syrup - one of my favorites). The flavors were intense and incredibly satisfying. We will definitely be back!

Regina is now full of Indian restaurants, most of which provide decent food at a decent price. Tamarind is a cut above the rest. The restaurant itself is a pleasantly designed space, somewhat more stylish than average. Service is professional and courteous. No buffet is available, but the menu is extensive and varied. Our party of four ate lamb, beef and fish and all were absolutely delicious, full of subtle and well differentiated flavours. Not only that but the portions were generous enough that most of us took the leftovers home. Thoroughly enjoyable. I will be returning!

Staff and service are without compare!!! Best Indian food on the prairies. Table service with all you can eat tandoori chicken and nan bread... exceptionally fresh buffet, rotating selection, almost everything except the ranch dressing is made from scratch. I found this place by accident (after a bad experience across the street) and I JUST CAN'T STOP EATING HERE!!!!If you live in Regina, or you are just passing through, you cannot go wrong by eating here!!!
