An amazing Indian Cuisine restaurant, where flavors are big and the owners and staff are attentive and caring, from the moment you step inside you are made to feel welcome. The food is amazing. If you enjoy a little heat on your taste buds with loads of flavor then this is a must.

Raasoie The kitchen of India

Being keen curry-enthusiasts and having been to India specifically for its spicy and tasty cuisine, this is certainly our go-to place for a super-tasty comfort meal packed with authentic North Indian flavors. There is a vast variety of curries, as there are in India, each (thankfully) with an explanation of its origins, enough to satisfy the fussiest of eaters!Although every protein, barring pork and duck, are on the menu, I would highly recommend the vegetarian menu. In true Indian style, they are unequivocally the masters of Vegetarian cuisine, with the perfect balance of taste and spice. Having followed this restaurant from its origins in McAdams Street, they have done themselves justice in relocating to this most recent venue, overlooking PE's beautiful beachfront, and on the rare windless occasion in PE, one can enjoy the heat of a good authentic curry, while simultaneously reminisce the sights and sounds of India.

Visited this Indian restaurant for dinner during a business trip to Port Elizabeth. Firstly the breathtaking sea view adds to pleasant ambiance. The restaurant is clean and modern looking. I ordered a Dhal Makhani with Garlic Naan bread. A vegetarian's treat and delight. The food was well prepared with the right mix of spices and delicious. The service was efficient and friendly. I will certainly come back and highly recommended for Indian food lovers.

Hungry Peter is the place to be if you are hungry. I spent early morning at Nelson Mandela University with my daughter. She had a friend with her from varsity. We made it a family outing. We were a group of 8 and we were all extremely hungry. Haven't had breakfast and by now it was 12h30. We were pleasantly surprised by huge portions. Six hungry teen boys and girls were satisfied. We walked the extra portions off at the Boardwalk as we were going for swim afterwards. Yes it was worth every cent spent there. Thanks alot your kind words motivate us to do better
