We were shopping in the Janss Mall and stopped to eat here. The food was tasty if not overly mild. The buffet (its usually table service in the evenings) was small but full of classics. Tandori chicken, Chicken Korma, some veggies and one or two other meat dishes. There was also a desert cart. Overall a satisfying Indian meal. Met the expectation of a local indian restaurant.
Loved this little "hole in the wall". It is new and has absolutely exceptional service. We were allowed to sit where ever we wanted so we chose a booth. We were waited on right away. My daughter ordered a hot tea. We were served some complementary lentil soup. We ordered some Vegetable Kothey Momo (6.99), we ordered them pan fried, they are dumplings and they were served with two sauces..one was a tomato achaar and the other one I think was the non spicy one. I just had to try the garlic basil naan (3.49) which was delicious. My daughter wanted the Aloo Chili (9.99), she had had it before and loved it. It is baked potato slices combined with ginger, garlic and Himalayan spices. I decided to order the Machha Ko Masu with fish 13.99. The fish was salmon and this was basically a delicious fish curry with ginger, garlic and onion. Every time they came to the table and brought us something they said "Thank you". My daughter loved the potatoes so much I asked how they make them...ahh...their dad makes them...he came to the table and cleared the dishes and I asked him how they make that cause there was a Himalayan secret in there and he was nice enough to explain what some of it was. I must admit, those really are delicious and unusual. There was a lot of food, even my husband and I don't order that much when we go out. We had left overs for the next day. Total for everything was $36.96. The only thing that would make this restaurant better is to have the little girl turn off the sound on her toy because to me it was irritating and to play some Himalayan music, other than that I think it is fantastic and I hope they do well. Excellent.

It was a simple order, mild chicken curry and Paratha bread to go. Got home and literally got burned because the mild chicken curry was atomic hot! Now lets talk about their bread. Paratha is always a buttery, flaky bread that I have never seen messed up in many ages of ordering it, but their version was a disaster. It was bone dry, flavorless, and fell apart in strips while just pulling it out of the bag.It ruined our evening, we're not coming back.
