Reviews on Indian food in Lund, Skane County, Sweden. Among the oldest cities in Sweden, Lund was founded in the late 10th century. The stalwart Lund Cathedral is almost as old as the settlement itself; it was built in traditional Romanesque style and contains a beautiful astronomical clock, five organs and an ancient crypt. Explore charming Jakriborg, a modern residential area that emulates a medieval town, then head to the beautiful Botanical Gardens.

Govindas has been operating in Lund since april 1994. We use 100% fresh ingredients. The only product we buy ready is tomato paste. Everyday there is fresh baked sourdough bread. The portions are very generous and we always serve seconds, so nobody will g
Govindas is a classical popular place in Lund. Students are often sitting almost on each other to eat here - although the best is during the warm season where one can also enjoy sitting outside.Probably a pioneer in the vegan/vegetarian food, with a nice young atmosphere, Govindas doesn't let you down. You eat good and in abudance. The home made (must be so?) bread is top notch. Nice sallads, and a nice variated meal, offering often rice, a delicious soup and indian inspired dishes. Finally also a nice selection of teas. There is a lot of care in the food, but everytime I have been there I noticed that the meal didn't taste that different to the previous one. A tiny bit more variation would be great, if you are a regular visitor.Otherwise, this is a gem for Lund, thanks also to the friendliness of the staff.
We offer gourmet vegan & raw food in a cosy atmosphere. We are open for breakfast and lunch Monday to Friday. The rest of the time we offer catering and i's posible to book the premises with full service. Welcome.
I had a very good experience at the Yoga Bar. Your choice of dishes is limited to four or five, which however caters for most tastes, but all of them are carefully prepared and lovingly assembled on your plate, thus creating a multi-sensorial adventure.I especially appreciated also the fact that all of their ingredients are sourced locally.Dear Giorgio,Thank you so much for your review. We are very happy you enjoyed our food <3We run a concept where we change our menu each week except our signature dish, Banh Xeo, that´s always on the menu. So we have three new dishes each week.Thank you again and welcome back :)

Been in India the past 20 yeras having Indian in-laws I know my food- this place is exceptional. The real thing! Not greasy, cooked on order, subtle flavours that burst in your mouth.... Wish this place was in my home town! The order takes time as not pre fab, so you need time to wait- we ordered poppadums while waiting-NB the plate is huge so 1 enough for 3-4 of you.Take away also available.Lovely friendly service, feels like a family run place.

It's the best Indian restaurant in Lund, but that's not much of an accolade. The restaurant was entirely empty but the people were very friendly. It's a shame that the restaurant has such a bad location, I think we saw a drug deal outside the window when we sat down. Anyway, what about the food? The chicken was dry, and the sause was oily. The spice and taste was good though, and the nan bread was great.
