High class authentic Indian cuisine.
Tamannas is the best takeaway we've ever used, service is quick and food is always hot if delivered. Their chicken is so tender and never dry or chewy it just melts in your mouth. They give good portions too.I have the chicken balti with coconut rice and it is beautiful. My boyfriend has the Bengali Taste Chicken and loves it hot and Tammana's always gets it just right. Their naan breads are lovely too. Junior is friendly and makes the visit or delivery just as pleasant we wouldn't go anywhere else for a curry and we love it that much we even go collect if they are busy as we wouldn't order anywhere else.Thank you so much for your kind review Kind regards Team Tamannaâs

I recently visited the Hare and Hounds after being promised a traditional (and delicious) Yorkshire pie. I was not disappointed! I had the chicken and bacon pie, and my friend had the cheese and onion pie. Both were absolutely delicious. The chicken was tender and the bechamel sauce was creamy and full of flavour. I'm told by my friend that the cheese and onion pie was equally tasty. Coupled with a pint and a spectacular view over the rolling hills, this was a pie to remember! I'd highly recommend this cosy pub. Very friendly and welcoming staff, too. Thanks so much for your great review, it makes all the hard work worth while, I will pass this on to our team.

I visited the restaurant with 2 friends recently and booked a table for 7pm, our orders were taken and the popadoms arrived, before we had finished eating them, the main course arrived and it was clear we were expected to leave the popadoms and start the main courses, as we were finishing the mains - which I must say were really good, the rather miserable waiter asked if we would like anything else, by this time (8.45) it was obvious they wanted us out and I asked for the bill, again however a waiter hovered next to us - obviously wanting the money and again giving the impression that they wanted us to leave? However on leaving a gentleman came in and was seated at a table and given a menu? I can only assume that the restaurant takes bookings for two âsittingsâ, with the second sitting starting at 9pm? It would have been polite for someone to have explained this when taking the booking? I feel itâs perhaps necessary to clarify that as three mature women we were certainly not giving the restaurant any other reason for wanting us to leave. The food served by Cardamom is really very good which is why I visited for a second time but after my last visit and the poor rushed service provided I would be reluctant to visit again. We are extremely disappointed you felt the urge to put a negative review. We strive to do the best for our patrons. Our staff are all trained to give our patrons a waiting time on all orders given, they are also trained to ask our patrons if they are ready to have the meal , this is etiquette and used through all restaurants with a good understanding within the hospitality industry. Usually this is a opportune time when patrons usually say if they want a longer break , as such the management would always work with requirements of the individuals. It is also polite and customary within the hospitality industry for the house of front staff to politely ask if there is any further requirement after a meal , in no means ,is this a prompt for patrons to leave. As the guest relation manager I can only apologise for any misconception you may or may not have had with the interactions of our staff, I along with the management sincerely hope you do return to our establishment . We are constantly reviewing our service and strive to serve our customers better .
