A wide spread buffet with all veg options. Multiple cuisines included, along with salads, starters and soups. Many drinks also available, along with desserts. Can sit in or take away. We passing through the railway station in Bern on a Sunday and needing lunch decided to stop at Tibits. It was very busy and we were advised to find seats before buying our lunch. Having secured seats, we investigated the buffet. The food was freshly cooked and looked appetising although we thought the choice was a little limited. Very tasty though! This is one of those restaurants where you serve yourself and then have your plate weighed in order to determine cost. We paid less than we would have done if we had a single course in another restaurant but then our portion size was smaller.Dear KevinMany thanks for you review and your recent visit to tibits. If you need to get away from the city, or are just looking for a charming restaurant in a really swiss village, this is your spot. The beef is to die for, it just melts with the fork and knife. I tried the T-bone for two and it was cooked to perfection, charred on the outside and tender on the inside. Although it may be a little pricey, it is well worth the visit. Plus it is so close to Bern, it is almost a crime not to visit it. For dessert try the apple strudel

I didnât like the mashes potatoes but the rest was excellent, a slightly spicy ratatouille and a roast veal from heaven. The waitresses are kind and bring still water for free.
