Was here a couple of times and like the "green-environment" in the restaurant. Food and drinks are fine as well. The staff-members especially the new Manager (& Chef) are attentive and communicative. We also tried out the Cigar-Lounge (attached to it) and were also here happy.

After experiencing this chains other Zürich restaurant we liked it so much we went again the next night . Not cheap in English standards but average by Swiss. I'm not a veggie but this place could convert me . Fresh and very tasty . Only not giving it give stars down to the price. Would love to see this chain develop in the UK . Dear

A family simple restaurant. Very friendly and ideal for a quick lunch. In summer it is possible to seat outside. Unfortunately the traffic noise is loud due to the location. The food is homemade and very good. The owners refurbished the restaurant and it is now cosy and accessible. Ideal for small events.

If you are young and fit it is possible to come to this place on foot , otherwise take No.2 bus from Winterthur SBB station. The bistro is in the main building of the photo-museum where the library is. This place is always filled with local winterthurers therefore you might as well make a reservation either for lunch and dinner beforehand. Closed on Monday and during the summer holiday season it can be closed in PM. The lunch menu is modest but fresh salad buffet is nice and tasty. I often have vegetable and bacon Quiche. e.g. baked potatoes, small size pork stake and Pasta alle cinque Pi is the one that I can recommend. The family Vollenweider of Talackerhof in Illnau produces refreshing and excellent ice cream for this bistro.
