Nice atmosphere, pretty good food, something for everyone, very good service. We had a nice night, staff were very attentive and generous. The food was good but lacked punch and flavour didnât taste that fresh. I have high standards having eaten a lot of middle eastern food and having gone to Marrakech. It was a good feed but not particularly memorable. Great options for vegans.

This is a place where everyone can eat together. You choose your noodle, the style of seasoning, and your protein. I was traveling with a 5 other folks each with their own dietary needs. We loved going here because the meat eaters and the vegans could go to the same place and have a meal together.

We reserved a table for a group of eight, arrived on time and then were subjected to what would be the worst restaurant service of my life. Our waitress had great difficultly explaining what items on the limited menu were actually available and that there were a confusing set of constraints on what could be ordered. After we overcame that and placed orders, 45 minutes later she reappeared to tell us one of the dishes that some of us had ordered were no longer available so we had to find alternatives. After about an hour, entrees started to arrive for some of us but not everyone. After about 90 minutes from being seated and still some of the entrees not arriving we contacted the maitre d' and requested that he cancel the items that had not yet been served. While all of this was going on we being generally ignored by the serving staff.After discussing this with the maitre d' and the manager, they then DID NOT offer to make take any corrective action or to make "right' the situation. If you look at some of the other bad recent reviews of this restaurant you will notice that in some cases the manager replies with the following.... "First of all we would like to apologize regarding the bad experience you had in La Maison du Cygne. We take your message very seriously and we will do everything to perform ourselves. Thank you very much and wishing a very nice day." So the management knows they have a terrible service problem and all they are offering are empty promises to improve.

A 'Peck' is a dry measure of volume at the market place. It made sense for us to call ourselves Peck 47 as we are on Chicken Market Street. Chickens love a good Peck. Feeling Peckish? Come check us out... We LOVE eggs. We LOVE sandwiches. We LOVE coffee.

Excellent breakfast! Matching the waffle flavour (savoury) to the topping (like the leek-based waffle with the salmon) was an unexpected, but very nice twist. The fresh juice (apple and ginger smoothy) is a real treat... with a stainless steel straw ;-)Cake or death... I had a nice variation on the carrot cake, but missed out on the monthly special (granted, it was the second-last day of the month).Very efficient and friendly staff. Quite amazing that there is basically ONE waiter taking orders, and one assistant.
