Never tried Greek food before nether has my mum but tonight we tried for the first time and found it very delicious along with my nephew, sister and her partner it was a good evening very busy too.Recomend it to anyone visiting Eastbourne well worth the money.We're definitely honoured we were the ones to introduce you to the Greek cuisine! 16 Aug Skylark Eastbourne. Visited on a Friday evening for dinner and glad we booked as the restaurant was full. We were delighted to find a good range of cocktails on the menu so we each enjoyed one while we considered the menu, which is short and full of local and seasonal ingredients. We both found it very easy to find dishes we'd like and found all the food to be incredibly high quality and exceptionally well prepared. The wine list has some excellent local and UK labels and we thoroughly enjoyed our choice. Service was excellent with all staff being lovely & helpful. We chatted to the lady co-owner and were interested to learn how the business was formed. They definitely have the ideal pairing of skills to to run a great restaurant. I'd very highly recommend the restaurant and will definitely return. Only one tiny niggle: I didn't find the seating comfortable. Some slightly larger / more padded seating would be a great upgrade please!

Found this delightful little place while looking for tropical fish!!Super ambiance with a wide 'snacks' or 'simple meal' menu all of which are cooked on site. The establishment has a real homely/ cottagey feel and staff were extremely attentive and polite.Seating arrangements are very good and funiture extremely interesting - especially the upside down glass topped conical table into which charity coins can be deposited through the gaps under the glass.Food - which was really good portions, extremely tasty and well presented - was quickly prepared and brought to the table.Desserts and available drinks were also plentiful and varied.All in all a really good find - be it as an accident - representing excellent value for money and which I am sure will be revisited.

We were heading back from a day out when I stopped a bike in the window of a cafe, Told hubby who turned the car around and we went in. The place really is a treasure trove of history. We ordered cake and milk shakes, both were excellent, in fact we took a piece of cake back for later. We returned later in the week for a meal, dessert and more milkshake, which was equally as good. Lovely place, friendly staff, clean and interesting (even the loo).Thank you for your lovely review. We hope to welcome you again soon!
