We were hungry and found by accident that lovely restaurant...and it was just great! Staff was super friendly, according to the menu there is a new couple running the restaurant. Had the Belper Pizza, quite expensive (26 CHF) but it is worth, very fresh and the Belper Knollen (special chees from a local cheese factory) is very very delicious.

A wide spread buffet with all veg options. Multiple cuisines included, along with salads, starters and soups. Many drinks also available, along with desserts. Can sit in or take away. We passing through the railway station in Bern on a Sunday and needing lunch decided to stop at Tibits. It was very busy and we were advised to find seats before buying our lunch. Having secured seats, we investigated the buffet. The food was freshly cooked and looked appetising although we thought the choice was a little limited. Very tasty though! This is one of those restaurants where you serve yourself and then have your plate weighed in order to determine cost. We paid less than we would have done if we had a single course in another restaurant but then our portion size was smaller.Dear KevinMany thanks for you review and your recent visit to tibits. Living in the area, the Sternen has become our go-to whenever we don't feel like cooking. The staff is always friendly (to us and our kids). The menu changes seasonally and we can usually get in and out quickly. There is usually a fish and a pasta special to consider. Children's menu and activities are a nice touch.
