Banja Luka (Serbian Cyrillic: Бања Лука, pronounced [bǎɲa lǔːka]), or Banjaluka (Serbian Cyrillic: Бањалука), is the largest city and the de facto capital of the Republika Srpska entity and the second-largest city in Bosnia and Herzegovina after the capital Sarajevo. Traditionally, it has been the centre of the Bosanska Krajina region, located in the northwestern part of the country. It is home of the University of Banja Luka as well as numerous state and entity institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The city lies on the River Vrbas and is well known in the countries of the former Yugoslavia for being full of tree-lined avenues, boulevards, gardens and parks. According to the 2013 census, Banja Luka has 199,191 inhabitants.

Several trips for their excellent falafals. Al fresco nice but take away also available by phoning ahead. Vegetarian options are often difficult in the Balkans but this restaurant allowed my daughter to eat happliy during our stay! We used it for luch several times. Few frills but something for everyone.

Zeleno naruci are the best proof that healthy food can be very yummy. In fact, this is one of two the best restaurants I have ever used around the world.I am impressed how they managed to cook that delicious meals from pastas, sandwiches and cakes.But above all, I was impressed with their service. My food was directly delivered by the owner who shared with us the best recommendations regarding their menu. I was impressed and touched with his love and a huge passion for their wonderful and healthy meals.If you are in Banja Luka, you should not miss the Zeleno Naruci.
